Complex Numbers are a math extension of the real numbers, introducing the imaginary unit denoted as ‘i’. A complex number is expressed in a form of a+bi, where a and b are real numbers. Understanding and manipulating complex numbers provide a powerful and unified framework for dealing with a wide range of math phenomena.

A rational expression is a fraction in which the numerator and denominator are both polynomial expressions. An algebraic expression is a combination of variables, numbers, and operations. In this chapter, we discuss simplifying rational and algebraic expressions with solved sums.

A systematic and quantitative foundation for dealing with uncertainty and unpredictability is provided by the mathematical field of probability. In scenarios with uncertain consequences, it enables us to model, analyze, and predict. Probability theory's fundamental goal is to examine the likelihood of various outcomes within a given collection of potential events. It deals with the study of random phenomena, where probabilities can be used to characterize events that cannot be anticipated with precision.

This chapter deals with vectors in the plane. In addition to studying operations on vectors and their properties such as addition, multiplication by a scalar and scalar multiplication of two vectors, we will also explore algebraic and geometric vectors, vector notation, and symbols. Additionally, we will cover the formal mathematics associated with vectors, including vector bases in the plane, linear combinations of vectors, and the application of vectors to the demonstration of geometric concepts. The main focus of this chapter is the use of vectors to solve problems.

Solving polynomial equations involves finding the values of the variables that make the equation true. In this chapter, we are going to discuss solving linear, quadratic, and cubic equations by various methods.
