About Me
Hello! My name is Ms. Helen. I have a Master's Degree in Education. I have taught and tutored students for over 13 years and helped numerous students to meet academic success and perform above grade level year after year. I tutor English Language Learners, Language Arts, Math and Executive Functioning/Study Skills & Organization. My favorite subjects to teach/tutor are Reading, Comprehension, and Writing. My love for learning and critical thinking is contagious. I believe that reading is the fundamental basis for all subject areas and that all children can learn and reach their full potential. I help my students to find learning interesting and rewarding, as well as help them to build confidence in themselves and their abilities to become great readers and writers!
