About Me

I am an interdisciplinary biologist with more than 20 years of experience in investigating the biological mechanisms underlying human disorders. I have always been fascinated by the human body and its complexity. This fascination led me to pursue degrees in Biotechnology. Biochemical Engineering and Neuroscience. I am trained at some of the best academic institutions including the Indian Institute of Technology, University of Southern California, and California Institute of Technology. I have gained technical expertise in a diverse set of skills and knowledge at each of these places. In addition to my technical skills, I have also gained experience in teaching and mentoring high school students, undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs both in class room setting and research labs.
